An Author Guidelines of At-Taysir
Journal of Islamic Education
General Author Guidelines
Articles submitted to be published must be inline with:
- In general, articles published in At-Taysir journal can be written in three languages (Indonesian, Arabic, English)
- Articles have not been published or accepted for publication, or are being considered for publication elsewhere.
- Must be scholarly original engage academic discussion of topics in the field of Islamic Education (Turn it in Similarity Score < 30%) .
- May include a results of research, and surveys.
- Written in MS Word format, and submitted in soft copy via OJS
- Written with Garamond font for Latin letter (12 pts) and Sakkal Majalla font for Arabic letter (16 Pts) with a maximum word limit of 4500-5000 words.
- Articles must be typed in one-half spaced on A4-paper size, using the template which provided. The page settings in At-Taysir journal are as follows
Margins
Top and bottom : 2.54 cm
Right and left : 2 cm.
Indentation 1 cm
Line Spacing 1.5 cm
- Possible to be edited and corrected by the editors without changing the content.
- Articles should be in form of essay which includes
- The title should be concise and to the point, no more than 15 words written in Arabic letter and Latin letter
- Author’s name (without academic degree), author’s institution and author’s email address.
- Abstract written in English or Arabic containing a summary of the article that describes an introduction of article, methods, and conclusions. The maximum words in abstract is 200-250 word.
- Keywords consist of 3-5 words.
- Introduction (without subsection, 2-3 pages) which includes background, objectives, methods, and literature reviews/ theoretical construct (if needed) of the research. The introduction section ends with an emphasis on items to be discussed;
- Discussion (consists of result of the study, written in the form of subchapter(s));
- Conclusion (is a brief summary of findingsand discussion. It is strongly recommended to
avoid mere repetitive statements from the previous sections);
The literature listed in the References contains only the sources referenced or included in the article. We recommend preparing the references with a bibliography software package, such as Mendeley, EndNote, Reference Manager, or Zotero to avoid typing mistakes and duplicated references. Referral sources should provide 80% of journal articles, proceedings, or research results from the last five years. Reference list format is based on APA (American Psychological Association) style 7th Edition. We strongly recommend authors to use reference tools, such as Mendeley, Zotero, etc.
Online Submitting Manuscript Guidelines
The manuscript text must be submitted by one of two systems (second procedure will be preferred):
- Submitting document should be done by Online Submission System in the At-Taysir E-journal portal.
- First, the author should register as an author or reviewer (checking role as author or reviewer) in the “Register” or HERE.
- After registration completed, log in as an author, click in “New Submission”. The article submits stage consist five stages, such as: (1). Start, (2). Upload Submission, (3). Enter Metadata, (4). Upload Supplementary Files, (5). Confirmation.
- In the “Start” column, chose Journal Section (Full Article), check all the checklists.
- In the “Upload Submission” Columns, upload the manuscript files at MS Word format in this column.
- In the “Enter Metadata” columns, fill out all the author data and affiliation. Following the Journal Title, Abstract and Indexing Keywords.
- In the “Upload Supplementary Files” columns, allowed to upload supplementary data file or the statement letter or other else.
- In the “Confirmation” columns, if all the data that you enter were right, then click “Finish Submission”.
